Rick is Mensura’s corporate strategic advisor, providing analysis of new transaction engagements and investment review and guidance in positioning Mensura Capital within the investment community. As an independent investor, Rick was the founder and served as Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of InfoCure Corporation (acquired by VitalWorks Inc. in 1999), an international healthcare software and services firm. During Rick's tenure, the company completed two public offerings, raised over $200 million in equity and debt financing and successfully executed 35 acquisitions, becoming one of the largest companies in the U.S. in its market. During this time, InfoCure’s annual revenues grew from $19 million to over $200 million. Under Rick, InfoCure founded PracticeWorks, Inc., which became one of the largest dental technology firms in the world. InfoCure Corporation spun off Practiceworks in 2000 and was acquired by Eastman Kodak Company in 2003 for $486 million. Rick brings over two decades of experience and has helped create over $1.0 billion in market value for business partners, investors, customers and employees. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Asset Management Advisors, a $7.6 billion (assets) wealth management firm owned by SunTrust Banks Inc. Rick is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a BA in Economics.
